Providing immigration advice

Remember that as an employer, you cannot legally provide immigration advice unless you are licensed by the Immigration Advisers Authority (IAA) or exempt of licensing (as is the case for New Zealand lawyers or Immigration New Zealand staff for instance).

You may also want to consider an Approval In Principal or a full Accreditation, if you find yourself constantly needing to hire overseas workers, and would like to streamline the process. While the initial application may take some time, once granted, an AIP or an Accreditation will allow you to bring qualified overseas workers without going through the whole process every time.
