New Zealand Shores Success Stories

Mari, Monya and Dané moved from South Africa to NZ

The most challenging part of the process was to ensure that our application was correct and complied with INZ's regulations and criteria. We've used NZ Shores to assist us with the immigration process which we've experienced as very emotional. We were so fortunate to work with Julia Cooke who kept us informed and guided us through the process. Julia was always professional and very understanding when we asked for more information and clarification.

We arrived in NZ end of 2019 just before Covid-19 hit. Whilst there were immediate delays and changes to the immigration processes, Julia worked diligently with our application to ensure that our residency application was successful first time around without any comebacks from INZ.

We've not visited NZ before and our experience was very satisfying to be in a country where everything works. We did not find any difficulty to open bank accounts, getting our driver's license converted and purchasing vehicles.

There's no doubt that we're missing family and friends back home but having a South African shop on your doorstep where you can find Ouma Rusks, biltong and droewors and koeksisters makes us feel at home.

We saved a lot of money by bringing our furniture and other household items from South Africa; this also helped to make our new country feel more like home.

Our advice to anyone contemplating immigrating to NZ will be to use NZ Shores. They are professional, quick and know their game.

We enjoy living in a safe and beautiful country!
