Challenges
The most challenging part of the process was: getting document-ready. To get any form of official document, within a reasonable time in South Africa, is extremely difficult and frustrating. First impression
My first impression of New Zealand was how beautiful and clean it is. The people are friendly and life is at a different pace. What I miss from home is the higher speed limits on roads!
My advice
My advice to other migrants is to take it slow and enjoy each step regardless of the challenges it brings.
One thing I wish I knew before I moved was: how much it rains here! But we should’ve done it sooner and we recommend it to anyone contemplating the same path.
