CNC Machine operator/setter WANTED in NZ
A New Zealand employer based in Nelson is looking for a CNC Machine setter. The role qualifies for a 3-year work visa. You may also qualify for a residence visa, depending on your profile.
The company is a highly innovative well established business that specialises in the design, development and manufacture of field rugged underwater instruments and equipment. Their highly experienced engineering team operates from Nelson, in New Zealand’s south island.
The modern CNC machine shop includes a Hardinge 5 Axis lathe with twin spindle and live tooling and Fanuc controller, a Leadwell VMC with Fanuc controller, and a CO2 laser cutter.
The position requires:
- 3 years experience minimum
- Very competent with CAD and CAM packages
- Capable of taking a new design from concept through programming to final machining
- Highly competent at tooling selection and sequencing, proofing and optimisation of new runs.
- Ability to reliably and consistently manage quality control during production runs
- Organisational skills to plan the work schedule with the Production Engineer
