LAUREN CHEN

Lauren is a Licensed Immigration Adviser (IAA Licence No. 202301034) at New Zealand Shores, based in Christchurch. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Commercial Law, and a Master of Taxation from the University of Auckland.

Before joining New Zealand Shores, Lauren worked at large multinational professional services firms, where she advised a diverse range of corporate and private clients on a wide range of immigration matters. Lauren also previously worked as an Immigration Officer at Immigration New Zealand. This invaluable experience gives her a unique insight into immigration policy, and assessment processes, allowing her to anticipate potential issues and help clients prepare strong, well-supported applications.
Originally from China, Lauren has lived in New Zealand for more than nine years and understands first-hand the opportunities and challenges that come with building a new life in another country. Her own immigration journey enables her to relate to her clients with empathy and understanding while providing professional, practical guidance throughout the process.

Outside of work, Lauren is a passionate foodie who loves discovering new cafés, restaurants, and hidden culinary gems.
