Trade Qualified Fitter WANTED in NZ
We currently have an opportunity for a Trade Qualified Fitter to join a Hamilton manufacturing company. Hours are flexible for the right person but as a guide Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm.
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will get involved in day to day projects including providing mechanical repair and preventative maintenance engineering service to the plant to ensure maximum up time and production capability across the plant with a focus on continuous improvement.
You will hold a level 4 trade fitting and turning qualification or equivalent, 2 years post apprenticeship experience is desirable. Experience in analytical trouble shooting, problem analysis and root cause analysis along with computer literacy in MS Office is essential to this role. An understanding of plastic production processes and experience with CMMS (MEX) software is desirable. By nature you will have:

- a strong work ethic is desired
- A commitment to health and safety workplace practice is essential
