How to move to New Zealand without a job

No job offer? No problem! The New Zealand immigration system may still have some options for you to consider!

The study pathway

Depending on your background and your choice of study, you may be able to secure a student visa to study a level 7, 8, or 9 in New Zealand. In many cases, the family is eligible for visas while the principal applicant studies, and upon completion of a 12 to 18 months course in New Zealand, you may also be eligible for 3-year post-study visas. This then constitutes a fantastic advantage over many other applicants, in that you have an open work visa in hand, which makes it a lot easier to secure employment and seek residence under the Skilled Migrant Category.

If you have studied for 2 years leading to a Phd, you may also be eligible for residence outright (subject to securing a job offer). We have hundreds of courses listed on our Student portal.
