Sarah Coombes

After graduating from Otago University in Economics and Chemistry, Sarah started work within the government immigration department and it was here that Sarah learnt the inside assessment process, rigid immigration procedures and how to best apply immigration policy to any application.

After gaining this invaluable experience, Sarah joined the private sector as an immigration consultant and has since been helping migrants with all their immigration requirements to achieve successful visa outcomes.

You will work closely with Sarah to devise a clear migration path that best suits you and your family, at which point New Zealand Shores will manage the immigration process through to successful completion.

Sarah is an avid sports fan and when not playing sport she can be found like most kiwis, at the beach with family and friends.

Wanda Poole

From experience working for Immigration New Zealand as a case officer, Wanda has an in-depth knowledge of the internal workings of the industry and what it takes to best represent client interests. This knowledge, combined with her Human Resources university degree, has enabled Wanda to be highly valued by our clients and also by immigration case officers who process our applications.

Wanda has also worked for large corporate organisations within recruitment and HR departments. She has great knowledge of job searching techniques, CV presentation and how to land that vital job offer.

Wanda is a friendly, charismatic personality within the New Zealand Shores team.

Allan Crome

Allan has been working within the field of Information Technology over the past 11 years specialising in IT process consultancy and Project Management. Four years of this was based in the UK followed by returning home and consulting to local and central government organizations. Allan has a double degree at Auckland University in Commerce and Science.

Sporting wise, Allan has a love of the ocean and goes fishing, diving and surfing at every opportunity. Allan has also represented New Zealand in the international squash arena for a number of years.

Following extensive travel and time living overseas, Allan now has a great appreciation for the relaxed New Zealand lifestyle. He enjoys the outdoors and has a passion for sharing information on travel destinations and experiences within New Zealand and abroad.

Jay Burston

Jay is originally from the UK and moved to New Zealand in 2004. Although he has a 16 year history in IT, web development and electro-mechanical fields, the last 6 years he has spent helping others make the move to, and settle in, New Zealand and as a consultant to small businesses.

Jay is passionate about his new home in New Zealand, and is excited to be part of the New Zealand Shores team. Jay brings to the table a wealth of experience in business and also an insiders view of the immigration process, having gone through successful working holiday visa, work visa and permanent residency applications.
